Best friends since O-Week and roommates this year, Zach and Labib have been inseparable since they first stepped onto UChicago’s campus. For the last year and a half, the boys from Memphis and New York have compiled their own collection of shared adventures ranging from the outright hilarious to the blatantly odd.

Yet despite all the shenanigans, nothing pleases Zach and Labib more than the art of debate, especially with one another. From which team will win the World Series to who, between them, needs to clean the room, the boys have covered it all to the amusement of their friends, family, and complete strangers.

Now, for the first time, the Roommates, as we will call them, are ready to take their battle to the World Wide Web. The idealistic and devotedly Democratic Zach will take on the practical-minded and staunchly Republican Labib in a weekly thought-provoking debate on politics, economics, and social issues.

While not all of you will agree with Zach and Labib, we hope that you will check back every Monday for some fine argumentation and written reasoning.
