The people who join Diskord work for us because they love what they do, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We are a publication characterized by a small but dedicated staff that strives to make a high-impact publication in a cost-effective and environmentally-friendly way. All staff equally share responsibilities for distribution of our weekly and quarterly publication. We encourage leadership — becoming an editor is based solely on how much time and energy and passion you bring to the job, and may happen after just one or two quarters with the publication. We’re only in our 5th year of existence, but former Diskord staff are stacking up impressive resumes — they’ve gone on to pursue Rhodes and Fulbright scholarships, work at NPR and BBC, do their part to save the world at organizations such as the Center for Death Penalty Litigation and Teach for America, and unearth a 2,800 year-old monument, to give a partial list.
